Soma Yoga Intermediate Level Yoga Journeys welcomes those with some experience of yoga to a cool sangha (community), helping each other stay motivated with our practice and on our paths of personal evolution.

This is a great chance to go deeper with your practice and to apply the timeless wisdom and techniques of the sages and modern scientific understandings, to your life.

This term we'll find an optimal balance of easeful practices, through to progressively more challenging sequences, to explore and embody our theme: Elemental Chakras

For thousands of years, yogis have been working the concept of the chakras, or subtle energy centres in the body to guide or support transformation on every level. In this journey we will be using the classical tantrik approach of my lineage, to direct awareness, build understanding and work both directly and indirectly with the chakras.

Using the system of the chakras, there’s opportunity to bring about change and increase or balance energy flow in any area of our lives - and we are going to be doing that with full embodied intention. Over the 8 weeks of the journey, we’ll be working with specific sequences of Pranayama, Asana, Flowing Sequences, Mantra, Mudra, Meditation & Journalling.
