Ānanda Śakti: The Power of Bliss Embodiment Journey

  • Soma Yoga 7 Crawford Street Dunedin, Otago, 9016 New Zealand (map)

Ānanda Śakti is our sacred space and time to gather together in community and journey inward, with our tantrik ritual of embodiment.

- Saturday 24th August, 6 - 9pm
- At A Y U, 7 Crawford St, Dunedin
- Investment: $65

We will start and finish in circle, to connect and set our personal and group intentions (sankalpa), and then journey with:

- Pranayama (Breath Work practices) to clear, align and balance our energy

- Soma Yoga with longer hold gentle asana (similar to Yin) and intentional movement, for the unraveling of tensions and to connect deeply into the whole body (koshas)

- Yoga Nidra Sound Bath with Taoka Pūoro, Crystal Bowls and other instruments to delight the senses

Jasmin (Soma Yoga) is excited to co-create again with Dr Jennifer Cattermole with her selection of taoka pūoro (traditional Māori instruments). Jennifer is a maker, educator, and experienced player of taoka pūoro and one of Aotearoa's leading ethnomusicologists.

Immersive Events are ideal opportunities for intention setting, so if you are wanting to create a shift, this will be a powerful time for you.

I am so looking forward to connecting in, and sharing this experience drawn from my Tantrik Hatha lineage with you. Classical Tantrik Hatha (not to be confused with neo tantra) is all about the nourishing, healing and transformative power of cultivating joy through embodiment.

It’s recommended that you allow time in the rest of the weekend to go slowly and gently, to allow ease around the continuing effects of this journey.

Please bring a blanket and journal along.
